Starlilly Community Outreach Corp provides affordable and safe housing options for individuals affected by substance abuse, homelessness, and those exiting the fostering system. We offer a supportive environment that includes counseling & therapy, yoga and meditation, health and wellness, nutrition, horticulture, job to workforce training, and other programs designed to help individuals maintain their sobriety and achieve long-term success.
Our mission is to provide immediate, comprehensive, and evidence-based treatment to individuals struggling with addiction and mental illness, ensuring they receive the care they need with compassion and ongoing support.
We treat each individual according to their needs not their circumstance. We relate to people's higher selves while treating addiction thus promoting long-term recovery. We foster growth and goal orientedness as each person reintegrate back into society as a whole person while, creating sustainable options toward housing, employment, and continued wellness.
Street-to-Stability Footwear & Essential Needs Initiative
Starlilly Community Outreach Corp's Street-to-Stability Footwear & Essential Needs Initiative supports individuals and families experiencing homelessness and financial hardship throughout the Las Vegas community. Through scheduled outreach events, SCOC distributes properly fitted footwear, new socks, clothing, hygiene supplies and other essential necessities that promote health, mobility, dignity and personal well-being.
Participants may also receive connections to relevant community resources, including housing, healthcare, behavioral-health and substance-use recovery services, employment assistance and other supportive programs. SCOC tracks the number of individuals served, footwear and supplies distributed, outreach activities completed and community-resource connections provided to measure the program's impact.
SCOC Scholarship Program
Starlilly Community Outreach Corp offers small scholarships to those individuals who are pursuing steps to further their independence, recovery and the embetterment of their lives. We assist with the following needs when funding is available:
Phone bill
Utility bills
Drug testing (for employment only)
Background checks (for employment)
Physicals (for employment only)
Transportation - Bus passes (for school, training program, interviewing or employment purposes only)
Uniforms
School supplies
Training supplies
Interview clothing
