Family 211 Nevada Response

SCOC responded to a Nevada 211 call on 10/29/2025 with a family in need. We helped a Sister and her 14 year-old son with home accents, pots and pans, toilet paper, gently used clothing, spa robe, shoes, socks, interview clothes from Marshall's, home cleaning & hygiene products, a mop and more. She and her son recently transitioned from a shelter to their new two bedroom. He is a bright youngman who desires to attend school, do well and even says he is awaiting basketball season. He received so many hoodies and sweats, Nike court shoes that when that time comes, he will be well suited for the sport! SCOC is so proud of them as she is persuing her online degree in business. All she needed was a stable foundation in which to progress from. She will be starting our 12-week online self-care training which will assist her personal growth and development as a woman, mother and leader within our community!
