SCOC "Winter Action" Give-a-way Event 2025

SCOC’s “Winter Action” Giveaway on 12/21/2025 was so heart-felt and appreciated! We had to postpone our 20th date because one of our members was not able to participate and we needed her to so we were present on 12/21. Thanks to Hunter of Raising Cane's for accommodating our rescheduling!!!

Our collective worked together giving away personal items, chicken and tuna snack packs, ritz crackers and cheese, candies, Emergen-C’s for a lil Vitamin C boost, blankets, gloves, Bernie’s, deodorant, tea and lemonade thanks to Raising Cane’s St. Rose Pkwy location. A special thanks to my daughter Mera for making some dynamite chili that knocked everybody’s socks off! It was thoroughly enjoyed along with the rice and cornbread that I put together.

It was a very special turn out for very special people who aren’t as fortunate right now. People experiencing homelessness, substance abuse and mental illness need our love and care. Thanks to Our Beloved Donors who helped make all of this possible and my children and grandchildren and spirit daughter and her husband to help the order of everything! We are so grateful and this is our first year, we were consistent and we accomplished a lot. Stay tuned for Starlilly’s Community Outreach Corp’s upgrade as we have many things in the works!
